Unpacking a Seth Thomas Beehive mantel clock
I bought this clock via eBay and made this video to show how it was packed. I've read horror stories of poorly packed spring-wound clocks whose mainsprings sprung loose in shipping, destroying the movement. Fortunately, this clock's packing is a model of how to do it.
Later in the video I do a quick check to see that the clock ticks and strikes. I'll know more about the clock's condition when I disassemble and clean it - which will probably be in a few months, after I've repaired the other clocks I've bought.
