In part 3 of this video, I assemble the face, hands, and case of a cheap, key-wind, bedside alarm clock made in 2013.

An index:
0:00 Attaching the movement to the case's main plate.
7:07 Attaching the face, with several false starts.
11:30 Attaching the bell and knobs (too early).
13:36 Testing and adjusting the alarm trip lever.
20:29 Attaching the time set knob.
20:55 Attaching and adjusting the hands.
28:02 Attaching the bezel, base, and bell.
37:27 Finishing up.
39:22 Finding why the clock stopped about every hour.

I bought this Advance brand bedside alarm clock from Goodwill for $1.99 USD, to learn how to repair a clock that has a balance wheel and hairspring instead of a pendulum. It is very cheaply made, with plastic gears pressed onto steel arbors, but it is similar to older, brass alarm clock movements you might see.
