Part 105 - The wings of Tatev and Tatev Monastery - World cycle tour - 2018
Saturday 23rd June. The Wings of Tatev and Tatev Monastery. We started the day heading to Tatev. We were unsure whether or not we would visit Tatev however on the way we were lucky to meet Arnold Gall. He is a Touring cyclist from Holland Heading in the opposite direction. He told us that we could actually take our bikes on the Wings of Tatev cable car thus saving us a very steep climb. This would allow us to visit Tatev Monastery and then stay in the village of Tatev. This was a great tip that gave a nice resting day and opportunity to visit Tatev.
We are now staying in a delightful B&B in the rural village of Tatev.
