Kristen Waggoner Shares Importance of Protecting Children on “Dr. Phil Primetime”

Alliance Defending Freedom CEO, President, and General Counsel Kristen Waggoner spoke on “Dr. Phil Primetime” about the dangers of pushing children to undergo “social transitions,” which often consist of using names and pronouns that do not match their biological sex. Parents have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing and education of their children, but unfortunately, some schools are pushing “social transitions” on children without even notifying parents.
Dr. Leor Sapir, a fellow at the Manhattan Institute, also spoke about the recent findings from Dr. Hillary Cass that children who undergo “social transitions” may be more likely to undergo harmful potentially irreversible procedures in the future. A 2023 study from James Morandini further found no significant evidence that “social transition” improves children’s mental health.
