Film Score Exercise #4 - "Somerset"
Another quick one. I shot some DJI Mini 3 Pro footage of the Taunton River during a particularly mournful December sunset. Then i got it home, did a really quick edit of some of the better shots, then 'composed' a fairly quick and dirty score in Ableton, using a couple of Splice samples, and lots of processing. There may be a little bit of Arp 2600 in the very distant background as well.
I'm working on a series of these, just as practice exercises. I try to shoot some footage, then bring it home, edit it and compose and record a score to go with it, as quickly as possible. Hopefully with practice, these will get better!
