Martini Club - Short Blender 3d scene recorded to (real) old VHS tape.
I've been playing around with different methods for making my digitally created video 'old' looking, like it came off an old videotape. While it can be done reasonably convincingly with plugins and effects, there's nothing like the real thing!
So i dug an old late 90s VCR that belonged to my late parents and some 30+ year old VHS tapes, and i rendered this quick scene in blender, then recorded it out to an old, worn out VHS tape.
There's no sound yet, that'll be the next one! I'm very excited to hear what audio sounds like going onto these old tapes, it'll be very interesting. So stay tuned for more of these!
